This past weekend I entered 6 images into a state photography competition hosted by the Professional Photographers Association of Massachusetts. I am very excited to announce that every image that I entered was awarded a ribbon, 4 blues and 2 reds.
Additionally, one of the images was awarded the Kodak Gallery Award for Best Portrait. Kodak introduced the Gallery Awards in 1985 as a way to honor and promote the importance and value of excellence in professional photography. An image must receive a score of 80 or more points during judging to be eligible for the Gallery Award.
I now become eligible for the "Kodak Gallery Elite" award which honors the "Best of the Best" - it's one more way Kodak showcases outstanding, high-quality images and continues elevating the art of professional photographers with their symbol of photographic excellence.
