A Summer Night Out - America's Pastime

Some friends invited us to a Lowell Spinners game last Friday night and we had a great time (Thanks Dave & Margaret).  It was a perfect summer evening to watch some baseball!  We were treated with some spectacular plays, great enterainment and topped off with a walk-off single for the win!

Here's a shot of a play at second where Spinner's 2nd baseman Raymel Flores gets some serious hang time catching a pick-off throw from home.

Of course the night wouldn't be complete without a great show put on by the Lowell Spinner's Dancers!

We were treated to some some "LOOONG BALL".  Spinner's 3rd baseman Jordan Betts shows us his home run trot after he sent one sailing in the 3rd to tie things up.

Jake the "Flying Dog" put on an awesome display of his leaping and catching abilities.

The team celebrated the walk-off single  by Bryan Hundson (center of pile) which drove in Spinners Mauricio Dubon for the winning run.
